As someone who has worked in Darfur with so many precious but desperate children I can tell you first hand that you have an incredible opportunity to help these children right here in Bend.
Awareness and Action Unite is doing a great job to bring awareness to the on-going disaster in Darfur. Just by showing up to the Darfur Dress and Dash you will be a tremendous encouragement to all who participate. What a great opportunity to impress upon your children that they can help others on the other side of the world!
